Warren’s Monsters – the quilt that rekindled a passion

This is the first quilt I made for my first grandchild. I’d abandoned my sewing machine for years until I got my first grandbaby. I just had to make something for him. This was the first quilt that started it all.

It started out too blue. I add a few blocks of green later.

This was the first monster. I learned that I needed stabilizer to keep the squares from puckering so off to WalMart I went.
